How your 30-day plan works

The short answer

Your plan turns one habit into 30 small daily steps tied to a moment you already have, such as breakfast or getting home. Week one keeps the step tiny, week two steadies the cue, week three grows it a little, and the last stretch prepares you for busy days. Every day has a hard-day version, and days 7, 14, 21 and 28 are short reviews.

Days 1–7Start

Make it tiny and set up your space.

Days 8–14Stabilize

Keep the same cue until it feels natural.

Days 15–21Grow

Add a little time or one new element.

Days 22–30Keep

Plan for bad days, travel and weekends.

Why this approach

Plans that name a specific moment and action ("After breakfast, I will read for five minutes") help people follow through more often than general intentions, according to a meta-analysis of implementation intentions. Repeating an action in the same context is linked to it becoming more automatic over time, but research on real-world habit formation found that the time needed varies widely from person to person. That is why the plan calls 30 days a starting run with reviews, not a deadline.

Frequently asked questions

Is the plan really free?

Yes. There is no account and no payment. The plan and your check-ins are stored on your device.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing resets. Do the hard-day version at your next cue, and use the weekly review to change one thing if the same day keeps slipping.

How is the plan personalized?

Every plan starts from an editor-written 30-day template for your habit. Your minutes, moment and main obstacle shape each day's step, and AI then rewrites the wording to fit what you told us without changing the structure or adding claims.

Can I use it on my phone like an app?

Yes. After you save your plan you can add DailyHabitAI to your home screen, open it offline and turn on a daily reminder.
