The short answer

On iPhone, open dailyhabitai.com/app in Safari, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add. On Android, open it in Chrome, tap the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. The app then opens from its own icon, works offline and can send a daily reminder.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. Copy your plans first

Open the app, tap Add at the top, then Copy my plans. iPhone keeps home screen apps separate from Safari, so this is how your habits move across.

  2. Tap Share

It is the square with an upward arrow, at the bottom of Safari (at the top on iPad). If you opened the site from Instagram, TikTok or another app, first choose Open in Safari.

  3. Choose Add to Home Screen

Scroll down the menu if you do not see it, then tap Add in the top corner.

  4. Open the new icon and paste

Tap the DailyHabit icon, then I have a backup code and Paste from clipboard. Then set a reminder for each habit in Settings. Reminders on iPhone need iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the app in Chrome

Go to the app. If a bar at the top offers Add, tap it and you are done.

  2. Otherwise, open the menu

Tap the three dots in the top corner of Chrome.

  3. Choose Install app or Add to Home screen

Confirm, then open DailyHabit from your home screen. Your habits are already there because Android shares them with Chrome.

Computer (Chrome or Edge)

Look for the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install DailyHabitAI. The app opens in its own window.

What the app does

  • Shows today's step, a hard-day version and why it helps.
  • Lets you check in with one tap: done, hard-day version or not today.
  • Runs a short review on days 7, 14, 21 and 28 so the plan can get smaller, bigger or move to a better moment.
  • Sends a daily reminder for each habit at the time you choose, if you turn it on. The habit name is added on your phone; our server never sees your plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is DailyHabitAI an App Store app?

No. It is a web app that you add to your home screen from your browser. It opens full screen like an app, works offline and needs no app store download or account.

Why do reminders need the home screen app on iPhone?

Apple only lets web apps send notifications after they are added to the home screen, on iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. On Android and desktop browsers, reminders can also work in the browser.

Will my plan move to the home screen app?

On Android the plan is shared automatically. On iPhone, Safari and home screen apps keep separate storage, so copy your plan before adding the app and paste it when the app opens. The app walks you through it.

How do I remove the app?

Remove it like any other app: press and hold the icon, then choose Remove or Uninstall. Removing it also removes the plan saved inside it, so copy your plan first if you want to keep it.
